Crashwave FAQ

- What is Crashwave?
- A 4v4 team car-combat game set in a neon junkyard at the end of the world. Two teams, VOLT and RUST, fight over a bomb: drive it into their base in Delivery, or escort an armored bomb truck to their reactor in Convoy.
- How many players?
- Eight per match, four on each team. You can also play matches against bots, and there is a hands-on tutorial to learn the ropes.
- What are the modes?
- Delivery: one bomb, two bases. First to seven goals wins, or the leader when the 12-minute clock runs out. A tie goes to overtime, and the next goal wins.
Convoy: attack and defend. The attackers push a bomb truck through three checkpoints to the enemy reactor. It only moves while they outnumber the defenders in its ring. Then the sides swap. - What cars can I drive?
- Four classes: the Courier (bomb runner), the Striker (damage), the Bulwark (tank) and the Tumbler (support). Each has a weapon, two abilities and an ultimate.
- Is it online?
- Yes. Online matches run on dedicated servers.
- When does it come out, and on what?
- Release date, platforms and price have not been announced yet. Sign up and you will be the first to know.
- Can I play it early?
- We run playtests. Tick "Invite me to playtests" when you sign up, and join the Discord for the latest.
